Sahara Infrastructure And Housing Limited is a group company of the Sahara India Pariwar - a major entity on the corporate scene having diversified business interests that include Finance, Infrastructure & Housing, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Services & Trading.

The main business of the Company is that of Infrastructure Development comprised of Construction and infrastructure and related consultancy, and Airline Ticketing business. All other activities of company revolves around the main business and accordingly company has two separate reportable segment- Infrastructure and Airline Ticketing business

INFRASTRUCTURE
The Infrastructure Industry is experiencing a minor set back in India due to large inflationary pressures and consistent increase in loan rates by banks for real estates. Ever since the opening-up of Infrastructure sector and large scale Residential Complexes viz. Integrated Townships across the Country by the Govt. of India to the global players, host of new global property developers have entered India during the past one year for building Townships directly or through joint ventures focused on property development.

TOURISM INDUSTRY
Strong growth in Gross Domestic products (GDP), Increase in spendable income of peoples, Tourism Advertisement and easy availability of guides, spirit of national integration, increased land and air connectivity, positive steps to improve infrastructure and Governments’ policies and initiatives have contributed to strong growth of the tourism industry in the country.
